I’m Bart Bernard. I have three children. My children are 17, 14, and 13 – boy, boy, and girl. They go to school in Lafayette, Louisiana, and that’s where I was born and raised. I’m from the Acadiana area. I went to high school here, elementary school in Lafayette, Louisiana, and then I went to University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After that, I moved to Baton Rouge and I went to LSU Law School.
After that, I clerked for a federal bankruptcy judge in Opelousas, Louisiana, and then after clerking for the federal judge, I moved to New Orleans where I was a lawyer for Harrah’s Casino for a while, through their bankruptcy years ago. After that, I moved back to Lafayette, where I call home, and I’ve been representing people in the Acadiana/Lafayette area. I also represent people in Baton Rouge and New Orleans and the surrounding areas.
